Say Anything

Say AnythingHello, my name is Max and this is the bio I had to write for my band. We are called Say Anything. We have existed since Coby started playing drums over the horrible songs I wrote about girls while attending high school in Los Angeles, California. Being the egomaniacal singer type, I proceeded to kick out and\or drive away pretty much anyone else who joined the band, so there were a ton of lineup changes, yet somehow Coby and I ended up selling a lot of our self released\recorded cd. Soon, all these strange children started to repeatedly attend our live shows and tell their friends until we garnered a motley crew of a fan base.

Roots of Creation

"This reggae-based group from the Northeast has proven their ingenuity on Rise Up, their second album. Using reggae's rhythms and mindset as a starting point, ROC proceeds to integrate the infectious hooks and songwriting of rock, the instrumental alchemy of jazz, and the pulse-pounding beats of hip-hop into their energetic sound." -Bryan Rodgers, Homegrown Music Network.

Horse Feathers

Horse FeathersJustin Ringle moved to Portland, Oregon in 2004, and began to play open mics regularly under the moniker Horse Feathers. In 2005 Peter Broderick heard two songs that Justin had recorded in a friend's basement, and proceeded to track Justin down via the internet. Shortly after that, the two started playing music together. For the most part, Justin writes the songs initially, and then Peter helps to arrange them with varying instrumentation. In the later half of 2006 more people began to join the live show.

Christine Ohlman

This queen of blue-eyed rock n’ soul ( www.christineohlman.net ) grew up loving equally the sweetness of a Memphis horn line and the raunch of an electric guitar riff, whether played by Muddy Waters, Keith Richards, or Pop Staples. Teased her blonde hair into a beehive in honor of Ronnie Spector and never looked back, picking up a guitar and forging a career as a songwriter in the process. She’s the current, long-time vocalist with the Saturday Night Live Band.

Helena Martin

Helena MartinMy name is Helena, and I am a singer/songwriter. I play the piano and pretend like I can play the guitar. I love music, and if you love my music, I love you.
I am really into having my own music be acoustic.. to the point where I don't even like recording with MIDI. Live recordings are my favorite. I do appreciate a ridiculously wide range of artists and types of music, though, acoustic or not.
